Luxury in Prison?
I find it weird that drug addicts and criminals can have the choice of a luxury prison. I did not know that luxury and prison could be used in the same sentence. Luxury in prisons are like intelligence and Paris Hilton: they just don't connect. It's bothersome to me that Paris Hilton spent like what a week in prison and that Kardashian girl spent like six hours in jail for a DUI? My brother's best friend spent two months in jail and spent over five thousand dollars in fines for a barely there DUI. Back to luxury in prisons not just in reference to the super rich. If I killed someone I would expect to sit in a jail cell with BIG BERTHA and expect to be a bitch the rest of my life. Not in a cushy "cell" possibly alone. How does that work? I was brought up to be thankful for my privileges and if I did something to lose them I should expect to, well, lose them. I was never taught to do something, be proven guilty, and then get a sweet deal on punishment. If I broke a window I got extra chores for weeks depending on what window. If I did poorly in school, I didn't see my friends for days on end. But I don't know, I guess my mother never heard about luxury prisons when she was punishing me, maybe I would have spent more time breaking windows and getting C's if she had.
